Philosophy
The graduate programs in human sexuality focus on developing advanced learning experiences for practicing professionals, providing them with opportunities for enrichment, advancement, and development. Whether you are a teacher, social worker, psychologist, nurse, counselor, clergy person or physician, these programs are for you if you want to:

incorporate sexuality education in K-12 and health education classrooms,

include sexuality education at the college and professional school level,

apply to be a sexuality educator, counselor or therapist certified by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT),

do counseling, including pastoral counseling,

work with special needs clients,

engage in sexological research or writing,

work within communities of faith,

advise policymakers on issues such as HIV/AIDS, adolescent pregnancies, sexual orientation, gender, and power from a multicultural perspective.
